Ok but seriously, you need to buy something from the in-game store. You should buy a key because it's one of the few things on that store that isn't overpriced. You're already unlimited so you don't need to have five dollars in your wallet, though you may have to wait if it hasn't been a full week since you've done so. You could bypass the paywall entirely if you just play on a community server but do note you can only chat for free in community servers.
Once that happens, buy anything of any price from Mann co store when you open up TF2 (doesn't have to be 5 dollars). Once again, a key or even a Mann Up ticket is your best choice as you could resell it on the Steam market and get your money back.
Buying something from the Steam Community Market will not get you the privilege of speaking in TF2 servers, it has to be a purchase from the official TF2 game store (Mann Co.).
My suggestion: buy a Mann Co. Supply Crate Key, trade it for 70 something refined metal, go on to Scrap(dot)tf and buy every unlockable weapon you don't have for like 6-7 refined total, and use the rest to buy a dozen or so craft hats.
