why has the playercount tripled all of a sudden? i havent seen anything new come out or something like that. it was usually between 50-60k now its 150-160k.

valve nuked the bots, so everyone's back to play whilst it's clear.

idle bots are coming for the summer update thats meant to be out in a week or so.

teamwork .tf is still showing <20 people so the player count has doubled, but so have the idle bots.

Idle bots are gearing up for summer cases. All websites that monitor people actually in servers have not changed at all.

They've doubled, but only from 10k to 20k. Nowhere near the 100k users

i think it's a mixture of everything you might think it is. it's people coming back to the game after the bot ban wave, it's idle/trade bots getting ready for the summer update (i think that's what they do idk), and there are definitely havoc wreaking bots thrown in there as well

80% of this players are usually bots farming for the summer update to drop
