i really hate the fact that f2p users cant use the chat

im sorry for this horrible forum post, when i typed it i was pretty pissed, on monday i'll be getting my tf2 premium account, im still gonna leave this post up cuz you cant cancel discussions on steam, sorry for being such a pain in the ass, i love tf2 so far and i dont want to piss off the comunity.
i started playing tf2 pretty recently, not being able to chat is horrible,you cant even imagine the pain i've endured during rounds: picture this, you're an engineer with another engineer building stuff in the sewers of the opposing team's base, a spy sapps your stuff what do you do? obiously you would use the chat to warn the other engineer but you cant so you just sit there getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shot while the spy destroys everything, and you cant do nuttin about it. and this type of situation has happend to me a LOT of times, its terrible, and even worse is that theres a crap ton of cheaters in tf2, you guys dont know how many times some cheater has shot me truh a wall or from the floor or while they were dead, and i cant do anything, i've tried using the f7 comand, but nothing happens

Sorry you feel that way, but it's not that bad in my opinion. I think not being able to use commands is the worst thing about the f2p restrictions.

if they don't do anything about the spy on their own, trying to warn them isn't gonna change that either trust me.
cheaters can't shoot trough walls, it was either someone using an exploit or either you're seeing things. don't forget to report ACTUAL cheaters tho because valve is banning them (i insist on the "ACTUAL" because i don't want valve to be flooded with people sending useless reports)

i agree tbh. i saw a ♥♥♥♥ load of bots a couple days ago (before the ban waves) spamming pony stuff. muting free 2 plays didnt even help the bot crisis

Not the current one, but few years ago that was the solution.
but nowdays its obsolete and irrelevant and i think they should give them the the chat back, or at least a limited one, like for only 10 characters or a cooldown every 30 seconds per chat (to prevent the spam)
