2. Probalby a spy main. They would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the other team and their pet pyro.
I don't know many specific youtubers so I'll keep quiet about accusations... Not that I have to watch youtubers just to enjoy TF2.
It probably came from reddit or old twitter(still angry about that rename?). Everyone NEEDS something to whine about, just that some have found a public place to do so, even when they're wrong.
I've always considered it a wasted slot, if you want to Pybro you're more useful by preventing the Spy from securing the sap in the first place rather than waiting for him to succeed and then removing it. By that point it's possible he's killed the Engineer anyway, and the building will go down to enemy fire regardless.
Its not that its a meme but its rather that spy is a really ♥♥♥♥ counter to engineer, might as well go medic and build an uber which can ♥♥♥♥ him over.
A good engie wins the game, a bad engie loses to a spy.
You add a pybro there and might as well forget spy exists.
don't take every word here like it is a majority's opinion
Again, I'm willing to just accept it as a bunch of bait and yapping from the Usual Suspects.
What's important is that homewrecker is FUN. Annihilating sappers in one hit feels just right, especially since it sacrifices being an actual weapon for it (unlike neon).
Spies' complaints are understandable, but ultimately it costs them nothing to sap a building and then they can also just shoot it if ever in doubt. Shooting turrets with revolvers is pretty based.
it blows the spies cover and often gets them killed to sap anything especially if it is a defensive sentry such as on badwater last. The spy does their job in a suicide play most of the time and then gets completely countered by the same pyro that probably killed them.
