who are the guys on the tfc flag textures in tf2

tf2 has the tfc flag textures in the files, but with the red and blue team emblems replaces by two different faces. who are these guys???

would prob help if you sent a url with the images, not everybody has a texture editor

The red flag has Robin Walker's face, and the blu one has John Cook's face, they're the original creators of the Team Fortress series.
