I'm glad you're happy that the bot hosters took a hit but we still must be pushing towards more anti-cheat upgrades and a more stable casual/competitive servers in terms of people cheating and or bot hosting because it's only a matter of time before things go back to how they were imo.
No the bot hosters (the people who made and is hosting the bots) harassed, doxxed impersonated and swatted people.

FixTF2ers tried to dox various bot hosters (I believe they were successful once), harassed them, drew pornography of one of them, tried to hack them (illegal), and also harassed Valve in many ways.
So both are not in the right.
