Can't play tf2 sadly
Today, I can't play tf2 even though I played yesterday. The game boots normally until I press settings or either in the loading screen after joining. Please help, this might decide either to play or not anymore in the future. Playing in a windows 7 potato pc :(

That's because overnight tf2 updated from 32 bit to 64 bit, but also your fault for still gaming on windows 7.

You add "-steam" to a shortcut of tf.exe and launch the game using shortcut.

If you find that confusing you can also delete tf_win64.exe, rename tf.exe to tf_win64.exe, then launch the game using steam.

After doing "you can also delete tf_win64.exe, rename tf.exe to tf_win64.exe, then launch the game using steam."

Can you try putting "-dxlevel 95" in launch options of Team Fortress 2 please? that fixes the issue for some people.

Sadly doesn't work, all -dxlevel 80, 81, 90, or 95 does not work for me

THANKS ALOT KIND STRANGER, THIS WORKS AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS! The rename tf to tf_win64.exe works, but not the dxlevel one

Exactly what I did and worked, copy the name of tf_win64.exe and rename tf, then delete the previous tf_win64.exe
