Team Fortress 2
Is there a way to bring back the Valve intro?
As the title suggest i want to know if it is possible to bring back the Valve intro after the 64 bit update. I have a custom made Valve intro that took me too long to make and it would be a shame i can't make it work anymore.

I DO NOT have the -novid in my set launch options

First download ffmpeg (ffmpeg.org)
once you add it to PATH go to the location of the .bik video and open command prompt
in it type 'ffmpeg -i valve.bik -c:v vc9 -c:a libvorbis valve.webm' (it doesn't hack your PC, I promise)
you can replace valve with the name of the video you want to convert
then you have to wait for it to finish
It gives me the following errors: Unkown encoder "vc9", Error selectiing an encoder, error opening output file valve.webm and error opening outputfiles: encoder not found, i don't know what am i doing wrong.
sorry, i misspelled it. It should be vp9 instead

find the intro on internet, download it and put it in the file where you put your custom intro

or if you remove your custom intro it might put the original intro as default

UPDATE

The file to put the Valve intro has been moved to the hl2/media folder, while i managed to convert it not only in .bik but also .webm while i managed to make it work for some reasons it does not have audio. Anyone got a fix for this?

hello
i have managed to get audio working
it's either problem with the video's bitrate or audio encoding (probably the latter).
I used ffmpeg to convert the video from .bik to .webm and changed the audio encoding to vorbis. Then it worked

I could try that. Can you offer a step by step guide please, it will be my first time using it. And i don't want to mess up something
