Missing Eye texture

Hey, so, out of nowhere the eyes in my game started having the missing texture thing, I verified files and nothing changed, reinstaled the game and now the eyes are completely blank.
Is there a fix or this or am I just going to have to content with having my mercs being blind?

Try r_eyes 1 in the console.

It appears I have the same issue, however I typed r_eyes 1 in the console and nothing happened, iris's are still missing their texture

it worked the first time for me, but then stopped working, now it works sometimes. I have no idea why it even happens in the first place.

idk, probably server client issue, no issues one month ago and no changed any files

Is it possible you had a graphics card driver update that screwed things up? Happened to me one time and player models had holes and stuff. Reverted the update and it was fine. I'm not especially good with that kind of thing, so it's just a theory.

Maybe? But I have updated my drivers several time since I first noticed this, so I can't know for sure.

Yeah, I only got these issues when I changed out my GPU, went from a nivida 3060 TI to a AMD 7080, and Im only now seeing the issue

Then it must have something to do with amd drivers, I also use an amd gpu, I doubt Valve will ever fix it then.

my gpu have no update forever (support cutted) and this issue magically fixed after validated files (all files validated not any single single file downloaded) and i didn't any change with mods

it worked for a bit only, after restarting the command just stopped working
