im talking about the golden wrench, i heard it is something about 320k $, there are less than 100 of them, and as i remember you cant trade them, but i still wonder if u can get one

golden wrenches were given randomly to people who crafted weapons in 2010 as an engineer update promotion. 14 were destroyed, and the majority of the people who have a golden wrench in their inventory either do not play tf2 anymore or don't even use steam (or at least their wrench holding account). the only way you're gonna get a golden wrench is to convince someone to sell their account to you.

You used to be able to trade untradeable items by gift wrapping them and moving around the wrapped present, but that was patched out of the game about half a decade-ish ago.

The only way to obtain one is to either find someone who has an old gift-wrapped wrench (none likely exist), or buy the entire account of an owner (most of them are probably permanently offline now).

I wouldn't trust any price quotes, they aren't on the market in any legitimate way so any price is arbitrary.
