Honestly the two I've gotten the most tired of is "gaming" and "sex/sex update"

Like.. who the hell thought "sex update" was funny? That ♥♥♥♥ was never funny, even when it was new, it was just annoying. Only people who thought sex is a "dirty word" probably found it funny on the same level of just spamming swears with no sense of humor or deeper meaning.

The gaming memes were.. okay at first, but I feel like it got too out of hand. It was everywhere and you couldn't really escape it.

I never understood why so many people take issue with these, like, who cares? It's the same meme with a simple reskin. Not like it gets spammed everywhere like gaming or had stupid variants like "sex update/doctor sex" etc.

If it's just endless low quality SFM stuff though, yeah I can get that, low quality stuff when spammed can get really annoying.

there's a lot of secondhand embarrassment to be found when a community notorious for acting like redditors are both late to the meme and demanding they be a part of it, but it's so easy to ignore that i dont really care anymore
