Ubuntu TF2 not working
Im trying to run TF2 on Linux Ubuntu 22.04, it works fine, but when I try to connect to a secure server, I get this message: “You are in insecure mode”. I can’t play casual, community servers or even practice with bots! I do NOT have -insecure in my launch options, I haven’t installed any mods, I’m only using Proton to run the game
Way to my Steam folder is Home/.steam/steam
Way to my TF2 folder is D-Disk/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2

That's your issue, VAC doesn't like Proton. There's a native version for a reason, if that doesn't work check the forums.

Sorry i can't help you, i'm on Ubuntu too but after the 64bit update the only thing i needed to do was restart Steam and the game worked fine.
