best advice is to stick to community servers, because as you know casual has BOTS and the chat restriction!!! unless you don't mind having to kick the occasional bot that drops in, or having to requeue because you went to a server overrun by bots, then be my guest and play casual like I DO!! but bots also vary from region to region and time to time so ya, my situation isn't completely unsalvagable so that's why i haven't made the complete move yet
as for the space part, you gain more backpack space by buying backpack expanders, which are $1 usd in the mann co store, but you could probably get for cheaper from alternative store sites. you also get a free one every smissmas. they give 100 slots / 2 pages per use, you can have a max of 3000 slots, or 60 pages
if you don't have all the weapons, you want them, and you can splash some cash, you can buy all the weapons for relatively cheap. you can either buy a mann co key, wait for the trade hold, turn that into scrap, and use said scrap to buy all the weapons (while also becoming premium if you aren't already) or alternatively you can buy the weapons for straight cash. use scrap.tf for the scrap method and marketplace.tf for the direct payment methods respectively. i can also donate some of my spares if you want :)
yk then there's the usual ♥♥♥♥, like relearning classes n' such and getting into the feel of things again, which is a whole nother can of worms that i don't feel like getting in to, but i wish you luck on rediscovering the joys (and the pains) of tf2 again! if you do of course.
Have fun and do what you want. I've spent many hours trying to "fill" classes on my team, to be a team player but taking things that seriously I find this game to lose what's so fun about it. Just do what you want and have fun doing it.
you cant get it back as its a one time forever drop. valve will not restore it. its the only way to make the original unusual weapon.
