Do Uncletopia servers grab your IP Address?

Since Casual is so bot-fested'ed, I decided I'll give community servers a big try.

Uncletopia community servers are usually populated, I'm deciding right now whether should I join them or not, but here's one thing...

I don't want to give away my IP address to Uncle Dane the "Molecule" Main.
Sooo the question is, do his servers collect people's IPs?

Also, I heard server owners can see IP addresses.
So he can grab my IP, which I don't want to happen...

no, i just like using they, sounds better to say imo than he or she, also use a vpn then, idfk if server owners can see ips, and personally i dont care if they have my ip.

Do you know any workarounds?

Also, IP addresses can be used to be pinpoint your supposed location, even theoretical approximate one can come very handy if a smart persyn working with it.

This is why I'm worried.

then play casual if you dont want them to have your ip, if you dont wanna play casual then suck it up and play community, they arent gonna do ♥♥♥♥ with your ip.

I'm cautious about what they can do with it.
