Medi gun, kritzkrieg, quick-fix, or vaccinator?

There is no true best medigun.

Stock is always good, but requires the most commitment due to having the slowest charge rate.
Kritzkrieg is fun and effective to stomp with, but has no defensive capabilities besides healing.
Quick-Fix is more versatile with its faster heal rate, and its Über is more expendable due to the fast charge rate but significantly weaker.
Vaccinator turns your entire team into a bullet sponge, but doesn't grant full invincibility, which weakens its pushing power quite a bit, and can be overwhelmed easily if the enemy team coordinates (which means that it's easy to pubstomp with, because casual usually lacks team coordination).

In the end, it comes down to preference. Do you want to do meaningful pushes or defy death, obliterate the enemy team, heal your entire team so they never have to fall back, or consistently enhance your team's survivability in combat?

Medigun:always good, especially on offence. Can't go wrong with stock;

Kritzkrieg: good on defence to push back attackers, since sentry nest is less of the problem for defenders;

Quick-fix: bad for pushing, worth it when you single medic in really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ team without anyone being worth ubering, this way you can try outheal stupidity and don't worry too much of losing Uber;

Vaccinator: worth it when sole players are your biggest concern (more than nests or needing to push) like good medic combo, pubstomper, cheater or a bot. Overall worse than stock.

Medigun: Is nice, but weak if enemy team has competent soldiers and Pyro's. It's generally better if the map has so many choke points.

Kritzkrieg: Good against almost everything including nests, just uber a soldier or demo. Their gigantic explosion range will kill the engy, which will make it easier for spies or your teammates to destroy sentries.

Quick-Fix: It's... Good in certain situations, do not use it for "Faster Healing", Crossbow exist.

Vaccinator: The only weapon is video game history that can effectively counter cheaters.
Vaccinator only strong as his patient or teammates, unlike other mediguns...

Note: This only applies to 12v12, not 6v6.

in my opinion the vacc is one of the best weapons in the game but it does require a brain to use it

As long as you don't fight too many people, don't push nests, don't try to deny enemy push, don't need invuln, don't try to abuse ubersaw immortality, don't try to give everyone the best overheal, yeah, it's the best.

No, literally easier than normal Medigun.
You have +67% charge rate, if you mistime your uber. It's so easy to recharge.
If you mean pressing anything else than M1 = having a brain.

You can push nests with Vacc
You can fight with too many people if your patient able to aim. Negating any type of damage by 75% is nothing to spit on.
You can effectively deny enemy pushes including ubers
If you use Ubersaw to get uber rate you're a terrible medic
You don't have to overheal everyone if your patient able to wipe out the enemy team

Edit: Also, utilize your critical heals if you really want to overheal people.
