how do you expect them to fix tf2?

there really isnt a way to fix it, so i really wonder how do you expect them to fix a 17 year old game (they cannot permanently remove bots)

edit: bot ban wave was most likely worked on before savetf2 and fix tf2, some bots are still present (i did say they cannot permanently remove them)
it would probably take a more than two years for a single dev working part time on tf2 to implement the CS cheat detection system

They probably won't, but I love the idea of adding CS2's Overwatch to TF2.
Otherwise, manual moderation. It's "treadmill work", so they won't do that, but it would be the most reliable option. Preferable with a functional report option.

we expect them to do what every team based shooter does, actively ban cheaters and bots. they cant be removed forever no, but ignoring them doesnt help anyone

Did they release it for everyone? I heard it would come back but only for some really trusted users

This aged badly but valve has successfully gotten rid of bots Aswell as new bot accounts being created + bot hosters. We are indeed in a step of the right direction 🔥
