You just got hit with the oldest trick in the book, no way to get it back

Probably not. You could make an appeal to Valve and see if they reply. Also don't forget to report the fake Valve employee that contacted you and the account that you gave your items to (If they still have the name your friend had then be careful not to report the wrong account on accident). Scamming has become a very common among TF2 players nowadays, best you can do is learn from your mistakes and never trade away your items to someone unless you actually know them AND they're giving you something back in return (Something that you both agreed upon).
There will never be a case where someone says they reported you on accident and it turns out to be real, Valve doesn't only take into account one report made by a single account. They usually monitor your activity, your match history, points and much more besides that.
If you're unsure about a trade or anything along those lines, either make a post about it here, ask a more experienced friend of yours that also plays TF2, or go to a TF2 youtuber's discord and ask there.
Better luck next time.

My only advice is revoke the api key and change your password
There's no way to get your items back, Valve won't refund or return any stolen items.

ask valve for items, if they dont give you items then you atleast leave with higher IQ and wont fall for another obvious scam

No, they don't give items back, it's in the TOS.

At this point, Valve should just give a unique dunce badge and a unique hat in-game that says "I fell for the obvious scam" to new users who fell for the obvious API scam traps.

Use this as a learning experience. Just because someone tells you to do something doesnt mean you have to do it. Especially on the internet.
