Bot hosters engaging in illegal acts might get tf2 deleted
I've seen people on YouTube talk about some of the acts that bot hosters are doing to the game. I've seen reports of them swatting or straight up advertising really illegal content. I really wish valve would do something about this. Not just because I want to play the game again, but because I'm afraid that if law enforcement steps in, they'll force valve to delete the game as its the fastest option to stop this problem once and for all. Maybe that was the goal for the bot hosters in the first place. Man I really hope that something can be done before its too late. I love this game too damn much.

It won't get the game deleted. Deleting the game isn't gonna make criminals stop being criminals.

I don’t mind, it would be a healthy option

People were forced to shut down websites that distributed illegal products/services, it's not impossible for the law to force Valve to shut down the game.

But shutting the game down isn't gonna fix the problem, the bot hosters would just move to a different game/community and start issues there. The only fix is to find them and arrest them.

The idea of the shutdown is to stop distribution, that's all and no one ever said it was going to do anything else.

It's not just TF2, it's a matter of Steam as a whole.

The USA's goverment won't let VALVe easily slide like that, the chances are, it can be Steam itself...

Goodbye everyone.
This was an amazing run 😭😭😭
