What's with the frown, wojak?
No, this game won't die, not yet. :)

A letter to those who negatively view this whole movement, to stay positive.

"What's with the frown, Wojak?"

"I have a story, a grim one. And I can't help but ponder what would come next."

"What does it tell?"

"A ship.

A strong ship.

But it needs help."

"Sounds interesting."

The Ship That Stood the Test Of Time

"Away from the distance, a mighty ship smashes its way through the heavy waves of the terrific seas.

Its bow is strong enough to divide waves as high as suburban houses. The propeller is powerful enough to send the massive hunk of steel forward at breathtaking speeds beyond the averages of ships of similar sizes. It was nicknamed "The Unsinkable Ship". No wonder, the ship was constructed and managed under the wings of a superpower multi-national billionaire company.

The ship was old. Too old for a ship of its kind. Yet it pushed forward. Ships of its kind respected its course, staying clear of where it would head next. If only it is clear where it would head next. Nobody seems to be captaining the ship as far as anyone tried to look.

The insides of the ship are charming. It isn't as luxurious nor as comprehensible as what other ships offer to passengers, but it is beautiful in its own way. It is hectic, vibrant, and chaotic, but passengers come, whether it be on holidays, in their free time, when they are at work (somehow), even when they have a project due next week, they chose to spend the time here and they love it.

As robust as the ship might look, as swift as the ship sailed, as exuberant as the ship's inside might offer, what onlookers might not know is how bad it's suffered. How its cabin and deckhouse had succumbed to a deadly onslaught carried by a mysterious creature from the sea.

A creature of what is a mindless puppet. A "critter" that uses the hides of passengers, and does indescribable horrors inside those hides. It terrors the remaining passengers who opted to stay on the ship. It makes staying inside the ship a living nightmare and deletes everything that made the unwise move to challenge one by himself. It is a marionette that is controlled by the condemned evils deep within the sea."

"How do these horrific creatures invade this so-called "Unsinkable Ship" in the first place? Wasn't it supposed to be a hulking behemoth, capable of withstanding the test of time and tear?"

"Except it wasn't. The hull was made with cast iron, unlike other ships that used stainless aluminum along with steel. A risky move, but it was what was available back when the ship first sailed. Back when the ship first sailed, the sea wasn't as hostile and pernicious as it is now. However, as the ship stood the test of time, the sea evolved, and it brought more and more hostile creatures to try and break the hull of the ship. To invade it, and ruin what is inside. Until one day, the ship was refurbished by the company it once came from, and the sea found a crack. It widened it, it destroyed everything around it to make the ship even more vulnerable. And the evil wasted no opportunity. It charged and began the onslaught."

"Where was the company that created the ship in the first place? Couldn't they just fix it? It's a multi-national superpower, so fixing it would be a piece of cake for them."

"They can, they just chose not to. The dry dock's doors are wide open, yet no one is there to attend the dock. The cash is there, they just chose to expend it on other stuff. The manpower required is but a scratch at their workforce, yet they just employed them for other projects.

They chose to neglect one of their greatest children and advertised it as if nothing had happened, and the effort that they put into doing so is laughable. They still fed and supplied the passengers with goodies and merchandise to buy, even when the passengers had nothing but a slaughterhouse to enjoy. The passengers now wanted nothing more than a live-able ship. They never asked for more goodies and merchandise, they just want to be able to stay inside the ship and roam freely"

"But...

The passengers at least did something to retaliate, right?"

"Oh you bet they did, they screamed.

They screamed for help, a long time ago. Do you know how the company responded?

A fake promise.

"We hear you!" they said.

"We are working to fix things!" they chanted.

All but for an empty promise. And a hell hole worse than before."

"Do they give up?"

"Some do. Some dumb morons pursued forward and screamed even louder. And what can I say other than that I am one of those dumb morons that chose to pursue, to keep moving forward even when the chance of failing is higher than ever. But it would be even more foolish of us if we chose to not pursue that slim chance of winning if we were to stay silent and get no chance at all."

"You are one of them?"

"What do you think?

I come to seek light and shed those lights to help those of my brothers and sisters who are suffering inside that ship.

It's enough how the company treated us.

We want our ship back.

We want to enjoy our time inside that ship back.

Enough is enough.

ENOUGH

IS

ENOUGH.

WE WANT TO TAKE OUR CHANCE, EVEN IF IT IS SMALL. RATHER THAN GETTING NO CHANCE AT ALL.

ENOUGH

IS

ENOUGH!

We just want our ship back."
