I think you misunderstood my point about fanatics. There are plenty of fanatics who think that FixTF2 will definitely work and will spam messages everywhere about how everyone must dedicate their lives to saving TF2. I take a more reserved perspective on this movement. I doubt it will work, but signing the petition has little personal cost and carries almost no risk, so I'm willing to give it a chance. At worst, the petition will fail and I can say I tried.
