Custom Player models don't work.

Hi, I have this big issue and that one is, custom / modded playermodels don't work, it just dosen't replace anything, and don't say " uhmm that's sv_pure 1" because it isn't that, it never works, i just wanna have the touhou girls on tf2, dosen't matter if i delete every other mod, i just don't know what to do to get back custom playermodels, before they worked, from the nowhere it stopped working.

that's precisely what it is.

there was an sv_pure bypass going around a few months ago but i'm not sure whether it has since been patched.

i don't have this issue but base advice i can give you is to verify your files and if that doesn't work back up your mods and reinstall the game (or the mod itself mb idk), or maybe try reinstalling modern casual preloader (assuming you play casual) or try mastercomfig if you haven't (or delete it?) because i know some mods need it

but like solar said maybe it is sv_pure because not every place has it turned off

So, what you should really do is remove all custom content that you have in TF2 and verify file integrity with cloud save disabled. Then add in the models and go to a community server you know that has pure disabled. (Models typically don't work in casual servers anymore, due to either not showing up or simply crashing your game)

If that doesn't work, make sure your mods are in the right folders. (Doublecheck the mod page you got them from to confirm)

Then, slowly add your other stuff back. It's a little tedious, but you will find out quickly if it works.

If you're trying to use these on causal mode then it's simply not going to work on sv_pure without some kind of method to bypass it.

No it just dosne't work, Own server, Community server, that affects nothing.

Are you actually checking what the server has sv_pure set to, or are you just assuming that all community servers have it disabled? Cause that isn't the case.

From the main menu, do sv_pure 0 in console. Then start a local game. If it doesn't work, link us the mod and we'll check it out.

Didn't work, it's still shows nothing.

New discoveries, i had the highlander claymore, then i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now it dosen't work, but before i reinstalled it it worked.

Also it's just models, other mods work perfectly, because right now i have this one and it works pefectly (when sv_pure 0) https://gamebanana.com/wips/84823 , because it's model textures, not the actual model.
