Remove the Short Circut.
Literally makes demoman and soldier unplayable. All your projectiles just dissapear and you cant do nothing about it. Even when you shoot at their feet.

And then remove pyro, sniper and lastly TF2 from existence
unironically agree. it's not even like it has a use case other than completely shutting down two classes. the weapon is just there to give the engineer an unfair advantage

you could argue that it could've been used to protect a nest, but the sphere is so big that it's just used to cover choke points and obscure vision while humping the cart

No, it balanced cuz you can’t spam it, and you only have three shots before your out. And also you can wait for the ball to pass you and then shoot, you have to play mind games with the engie

You can stay on the cart and just make 2 classes usless. Maybe its not that spammable but its still overpowered.

revert to v2 shortcircuit

when it had airblast aim but a little faster than v1
It's able to be reflected, nullifying it and the enemy projectiles.

Jokes aside here's how it should be changed in my humble opinion:

-reduce the size of the energy ball by a good 50-75%, it's almost comical how big it is

-reduce metal cost to 50 (nice even number)

-add a cooldown that is tied to how many projectiles you destroy at a time (1 second cooldown if you delete a rocket, 8 seconds if you delete a whole sticky trap) with some clear visual/audio indicators of course

you shouldnt be punished by having your projectile deleted by a large, slow moving blob, just because the engineer had 60 metal to spare.
it's not balanced, else it wouldn't be universally banned in competitive, hated in casual, and downright overpowered on maps like dustbowl and badwater
