yeah ctf to some extent is stale and plr is a no go zone
I'm going to play 5cp for 2 hours with 4 stalemates
thats the point , you get more playtime , more balanced games which last longer
you're not the only one that hates payload though, i can't stand the gamemode almost as much as i can't stand the godawful maps made for it (notably upward)
yeah all the "unkillable player" do payload and you feel much more powerless +its mostly really conjested with awful chokepoints
tho at least it's not "push against a stacking of area denial class" 24/7 so guess that's a gain.

*7 minutes of lock-down turtling where nothing happens* A glorious victory for red team! :D
