I just started the game and i heard it is toxic so should i practice more or play online?

Unfortunate experiences could exist, you could turn off Voice and Text chat if necessary. I encounter new players often, without complaints from others of their skill. There are bots in casual known to grief, however.

If we are talking about standard TF2 then Yeah. even if youre bad most people do not pay attention to you and even if they do you can just ignore them.

Practicing can help you get the hang of a class and what it can do, but real people don't behave like bots do. I would recommend going online, as you learn how other people behave and react to what you do. The community is toxic, yes, but you can turn off voice chat and ignore text chat if you don't want to engage in that stuff.

Don't lisen to what people say about the game here,most of it is trolling or ragebait,i recommend you que for ctf first since its the most chill gamemode,try playing soldier,pyro or medic,thank you for joining this crazy community and have fun ^^
