Chat problems

So i've been having issues with not being able to send chat messages but being able to see other peoples messages, and for me iv'e tired many times but cl_mute_all_comms 0 in console does not work for me (i red that that used to be able to fix this issue)

You need to have a premium tf2 account to send messages in chat.

Also, don't set that command to 0 just to fix this problem. That's not what it's for.

Try verifying the integrity of the game's files, that usually fixes any issues.

Because muting free accounts didn’t fix the racist bots, Valve now requires accounts to have spent $25 on the Mann Co. Store to communicate.
