You'll have to create the folder.
https://docs.comfig.app/latest/customization/custom_configs/
You should really join the mastercomfig discord. You'll get better help there.
It does not have any destructive effect in-game.
Tho it can have destructive consequences if you try to use another fps config with mastercomfig.
You have to remove mastercomfig and all the files it comes with, by simply deleting the downloaded files.
Go to Custom folder, delete anything related to mastercomfig.
Go to your CFG folder, delete everything related to mastercomfig.
Done.
Mastercomfig DOES NOT impact your game in a negative way at all, if you think the settings are still broken, simply go type this to your launch options " -autoconfig ". Launch the game once, close it, then delete this command from your launch options.
This command will simply reset every setting you have to default state.
Also it is recommended to update Mastercomfig every few months or check for updates sometimes, since it gets updated pretty often.
When using mastercomfig, your autoexec needs to be moved into cfg/overrides
very-low also disables sprays by default
So really it's your own fault.
Rather than downloading some random preset.
But I understand it's might be too difficult to figure things out for some.
