Stock is preferred, but it’s okay if the Scout can move closer in, though I don’t like the pushback from an enemy Scout. I’ve also noticed cheats being used with it on separate occasions.

I use it whenever I play scout, and it's been fine for me so I guess it's alright.

It's okay. I'd personally rather use the Soda Popper though.

It's one of the best Scout primaries when you learn how to play around its knockback feature. Most people don't, so they should use the Soda Popper instead.

The true downside of the FaN is its slow reload, so you better be accurate with it and don't waste your shots.

I don't like that my enemy gets pushed away from me when I shoot them. I want to do maximum damage whenever possible, so I'll tend to use stock.

It is one of the best examples of how sidegrade weapons should work, for better and for worse.
I like it cause super shotguns are just better than regular shotguns all the time

I love the movement options it adds, but it definitely makes securing kills a pain. Definitely need a pistol if you want to still get picks.

I do like bullying heavies with it though. Nothing's more satisfying than knocking a fully overhealed heavy out of position / into the stratosphere.

I like doing absolutely high damage to then have the second shot do piss all.
