Team Fortress 2
How long is a "long time" to be friends in the trade holds?
Ok, seriously. 15 days? 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weeks? This is becoming way too much. I've been on Steam for like 4-5 years and I've been fine with the simple email confirmation (I use a different password for every account I have), and the 72 hour wait was almost fine but 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weeks? Why? Was 72 hours not enough?

NOBODY's going to wait that long, they'll always cancel at the last minute. Or, better yet, nobody's going to bother trading with me at all ONLY because I don't have a phone.

I had like 6, even more, stranges that I've been trying to get rid of for the past like 6 months and now I got no chances at actually trading them away. I'm stuck with them.

It says hold would be reduced to 24 hours if you've been friends with the user "long enough". How long is that exactly? I think it'd be easier to just add people for trades now.

And that doesn't even cover the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Market.

"If you're exchanging items with a friend, and you've been friends for more than a year, don't worry - the trade hold duration is still one day."

Yep, this is from the same announcement.
market holds are completely unnecessary; no one's gonna scam you on the market

So you can make around 24 trades with someone before you can actually trade like normal? Why was this needed, were people seriously too stupid that 72 hours just wasn't enough?
