How do you think the Spy's Disguise kit works?

In my Opinion,it places a hologram of the classes body on the spy to make him look like any class,and it most likely dissapears if he jerks around with any movement like stabbing or shooting,getting rid of the hologram

what do you think?

Everyone on the opposite team is so dumb that they fail to see the difference between a Spy wearing a cardboard cutout of someone's face and that actual someone.

Edit: Spy is really bad at tying knots, so the mask falls off when he tries to attack.
