How to get Better at TF2

Hello guys, I have nearly 1300 hours of playing record and I'm still pretty bad at TF2, especially when its comes to control point and payload maps. I keep on getting killed by soldiers and snipers when I played as soldier or medics. If you have any tips that can help me get better, share it. Thank you!

Hello everyone,

I currently have the same situation as well. I get some kills, yes, but i always get the dominations, and sometimes like to think as th wimp or loser of the team, and thats where i cross the line, i really need asistance, ive tried ne map but it turned out not working. I will accept any advise from all the pros or the very mediocre (in a good way) people, thanks

The thread is quite old, buddy boi; but nonetheless, you're adding something to the conversation, so I'll bite:
Tip No. 1: Don't stand still; that's just asking the enemy team to kill you.
Tip No. 2: Soldier, Engineer, and Medic are the classes that are badly needed in a team; be one of them.
Tip No. 3: Remember that there are a lot of guides and videos about how to get good at TF2; use them to your advantage.
Tip No. 4: Don't overestimate your abilities; false strength always leads an unsuspecting player to his/her Doom.

I know, but this guy seems to be new; he didn't make his own thread, so why not help out? He also didn't answer back to what he thinks of my fabricated tips.

To all of evryone who has helped me out and for the insparation to keep moving:

wow...id..i never really thought of that, like im normally a guy whos left alone and quiet and all, and also think that i can figure things out myself...but wow..im really flattered by the help of fellow tf2 players. ^_^ thank you so much to everyone who has shown me tips and insparation to keep moving.
