Heavy Buff PLZ
Heavy needs a buff. A real buff. I don't mean little things I mean big things to make him a more fun and viable asset to any team, pub or community. Valve can easily give him the right buffs making him more balanced compared to the rest of the classes.

Some ideas I have:

- Valve could just give him a speed buff. Instead of 77% speed, just make it up to par soldiers, at 80%, along with his speed getting a boost respectable to his new speed boost. With the biggest hitboxes in the game, Heavy can at least have a speed boost to avoid head shots or barrages of rockets, stickies, or pipes.
- If Valve did it to Pyro, Heavy can have a chance to have major changes to stock with shortening spin up times, faster movement speed when deploying minigun, or even slightly increased damage.
- Maybe give heavy the ability to use the Soldier's backpacks but with modified effects. For example, because heavy will mostly be dead after blowing a horn and trying to ramp his minigun, the backpacks can offer a faster activation or faster weapon switch for a few seconds for the Heavy to attack. The Concheror would give +6 or even +8 to keep up with Heavy's health and his poor speed. The Back Up would remain +20 health maybe even +30, and the Buff Banner remain exactly the same.
- Even buff older weapons. For lunchbox items lower the time it takes to finish the taunt.

Well that's all I could think of on the top of my head while writing this. Heavy is by no means a bad class, but it has been shown to be one the most underplayed classes in Tf2 for quite a long time. He needs so,etching that will make him respectable again by Pros and F2p alike.

I think Heavy needs a small, small nerf revert that buffs him. I really do.

However OP I haven't seen an idea so idiotic in a long time.
Get. The Fu*k. Out.

Now I actually bothered to read this whole topic rather than first line, and oh gosh... That is probably one of the worst ideas I have ever read in my life, my guts still cringe of how awful they are.

I don't think the Heavy needs a buff like that, that's what the Brass Beast, Gloves of Running Urgently and that one chocolate bar is for.

I cannot remember the name of that chocolate bar because I don't play as the Heavy often enough to get it yet. :p

What if heavy's speed is increased if he's not using a primary? Like for instance: heavy will have a speed of, let's say 80% if he's using secondaries or his melees, but when he changes to his minigun his speed decreases to the one he currently has?
That doesn't sound like a half bad idea to me. Though it kind of already exists with the GRU.

Well, I believe that increasing heavy's overall speed could help in his play style, as well as encouraging players to use other secundaries, like shotguns.

Same with Demoman's stickybomb launcher.

Revert the latest all-around nerfs. (Heavy's was L&W)

Partially revert. Regarding Demo, reverting the Airdet nerf (and maybe increase the base range by SOME towards the old range) and reducing sticky clip size to 6 would be nice.

Just reverting the LnW nerfs is fine.
No need for buffs.

He mainly needs the terrible rampup nerfs removed first.

this also would make the shotgun more viable because if you want a speed boost, you have to have a weapon out in case an enemy appears

I'm glad you like my suggestion, such a shame that Valve doesn't read the forums.

Well, I'd definitely like a little tweakening with heavy, so he becomes more fun to play as, and not as frustrating to play against.
