Theory concerning the announcer/Helen.

Who is Helen/The announcer?

Everyone who has ever played TF2 knows about the announcer, the woman who well....announces, but nobody knows her full origin story, the only real pieces of information that had any real value that was given to us in the comics was 1) That she was dying. 2)She was using australium to prolong her lifespan. 3)She was using australium to prolong her life span so she could "Settle an old debt", and 5)That Zepeniah Mann's maid servant bore a striking resemblance to her, and number 5 is gonna be our main concern since if we answer that we answer the other 4.

My theory

My theory is that Helen and Zepheniah's maid servant Elizabeth are one and the same, the first reason I believe this is mostly because her sudden decline in health over the 6 month period in which the mercs are fired, it just doesn't make sense, I mean medic can bring people back from the dead! Why didnt she just ask him for assistance, Im confident that Helen's hubris is not so large as to not ask for assistance when it could save her life. 2nd reason is that Helen has a huge cache of australium and for what? painting spaceships? satisfying her irrational need to get her hands on some australium? No, she needs that australium to prolong her life because she is old as hell and without it she's dead and she apparently can't die yet without settling an old debt in which I predict she will go about in a exceedingly violent manner.The 3rd and final reason I believe that Helen and Elizabeth are the same person is because of their sheer similarities, I mean by God they're practically identical it simply is not possible for Helen to look so much like her ancestor and EVEN have the same fondness of smoking as her, they're simply too alike.

Well everyone knows that Helen is a lot older than she looks, and regarding what you said on medic, that was medic's first time ever bringing someone back to life, so the administrator probably didn't know it was possible. She is collecting a lot of Australium, but she's collected so much that it doesn't really make sense that she would only be using it to keep herself alive, as Dell said that when her new life extender machine ran out of Australium, then she would die; but in reply she said that she just needed enough to settle an old debt. If that were the case, then why not just use the massive amount she's already collected to sustain herself? Also, I have a theory that she and Dell are working on something together, as Dell was the one who received the map of the caches of Australium from Blutarch Mann, which means that she would have to have gotten it from him. Also, Dell's family has had a close relationship (not necessarily a friendly one, though) with the Mann family for a VERY long time, which means that the Conaghers could have been working on something for generations with her.
