Team Fortress 2
TF2 for Android?
TF2 has relatively low specs, and there are devices on Android that can run TF2 on recommended easily. Im not talking about weak smartphones and tablets, but about high-end devices on Android. If there was a port, android devices could run it. If potential player amount is low, it could rise to higher amount in year or two, making port to Android profitable. Remember, HL2 was ported to Android.

Controllers, mate. There are controllers for Android. I said about them about ten times in this thread.
Even then, it would require massive changes in code structure. Android is a Linux-based OS, but it's still vastly different from a desktop OS.

Wireless hotspots would not be able to handle it.
Its not like people dont have their own Wi-Fi.
Linux is android.

no, android is based off the Linux kernel. That doesn't mean it has the full hardware support that tf2 needs

Is there a huge difference between TF2 and HL2? (By huge i mean almost completely different code)

In terms of basic structure no, but tf2 is much more processor-intensive than hl2, and is much more in need of optimization.

The game is 18.9 gigs without mods.......but there is a tablet I know of that can play Portal....so only a tablet with an incredible processor, graphics card, and with a TON of space could play it. Even so it would still be unethical. Plus, there's absolutely no demand for it.

Demand will appear in the future. Also, limiting factor to buying godlike tablet for android is that there is no games. Precious 4GB ram and Quadcore 3ghz processor will never be used.
Plus, that tablet you are talking about actually failed because of completely no good games for android.

2023 ?tf 2 port to android
If you can run an xbox 360 emulator on your phone. You might be able to run the orange box version.

Besides that. I don't know if this is really possible.

The year is 2023 and some person has already ported tf2 to mobile devices. Even budget phones with low settings pull it.
