Stuck on In-Game Menu/Class Select Screen

This used to happen every-so-often, but lately it has happened EVERY time i play TF2. Id be in the middle of a game and suddenly I see the in-game pause menu (which i didnt even press Esc) when im dead and mwh i try to use the mouse on anything, nothing happens but my gun fires as if the menu wasnt there. If I press Esc again, Im brought back to the game, but when I try to press Esc to see if it's still working, the same issue happens and i just fire my gun. Sometimes if I try to open the class menu, Im basically stuck because now im either at the pause menu with the game in the background or im just at the class select where, like before, I cant click on anything. All these senarios happen when I'm dead and Im getting sick and tired of having to Log Out of my computer and log back in.

Im just wondering if anyone has the same issue and knows how to fix it becuase this is starting to get asinine

This happens to me a lot and I just have to restart the game thru task manager; and the comment about pressing comma again does nothing
