Team Fortress 2
Which game has a higher skill cap?
I was thinking about out of tf2 and csgo, which had a higher skill cap? after reading about it on r/tf2 and there wasn't really a conclusion, I was thinking about this. Also, it is kind of biased to put it on the tf2 forums, but I'm going to also put it in the csgo forums. So, which has a higher skill cap, tf2 or csgo?

Depends on which class you play, though TF2 has a very high skill ceiling.

I can't comment on CS:GO.

CS:GO : shoot in hand, get the kill.
TF2 : shoot in hand, miss because hitreg sucks.

I'd say TF2 is more fun to play than CSGO.

Tf2 mostly involves DM and movement while csgo is more aim and game sense

Tf2 heavily depends on gamesense too.
Recorded some nice clips today, involving a lot of gamesense (you can actually see me bragging about it in the chat : "GAMESENSE POWER").

I'm not saying tf2 doesn't, just csgo is a lot more competitive

CS:GO's guns are too easy to use.

Picked up an AWP one time, and got 2 kills in one round with it. I've never used it before that time.

I haven't played csgo enough for this to hold water, but i'd have to say tf2

You can't really compare them cause they are so different.
Both require huge skill cap.

Really?I suck with the awp, my first time playing, I couldn't aim at all, because it's so different from tf2

Man, when I was new to tf2 I couldn't do crap, I always played soldier and medic but I played against bots a lot because I got Rekt in servers

Neither of them aid survival, who cares.

CS:GO relies more on the luck of how stupid it is when you fire for a quarter second, the bullets can literally hit ANYWHERE on your screen if you don't just tap once to fire a single bullet.

Just my two cents after playing this game on a friend's computer for much too long.

Yes combat awarness/game-sense is very valuable. Often the view on it gets jaded because of disgusting cheaters that hide it pretty well.

Both requires a lot of skill and completely different at the same time.

Same question as Battlefield or CoD - Though both are military shooters, they are very different. Fast and arcady CoD vs. slightly more realistic and more about tactics in BF.

Personally i might say cs:go? Could not really say because my experience with csgo was rather laggy and i never really got into competitive, but there were many things to learn. Tf2 in my opinion is more fun and i could see people saying it has a higher skill ceiling because of the different classes, rocket jumping etc. Tf2 is definetley not as competitive as csgo though.
