Finding your main class.
I've been playing tf2 for 2.5 k hours, and I still can't find a main class. If any of you could post the way you found your mains, that'd be helpful.

Go on a pug, and select a class that you think you are good at. Play it. If you weren't satisfied, repeat with a different class.

It's not that you need to find one class that you always play, you need to get a good loadout on all classes and get really good at picking the class to fit the situation. Like, if there's a sniper hardscoping, go deadringer/amby spy. Or if there are soldiers with the beggars bazooka, go pyro with the scorch shot or flare gun.
Also, I see you have good taste in account image.

Try out all the classes for a fair amount of time. You should be able to tell which class you want to main.

I would not try to find a main class, why ?

Because you choose the class your team needs and adjust to the situation - TF2 is not an mmorpg.

And its a lot more fun to play all kind of classes instead just only one, would be boring for me.

When you only have expirience with one class, you lack to understand the other classes. Play all classes so you know their weaknesses.

It's very rare to find someone that likes to play all the classes. Some people find certain classes boring, or don't like how it's played. Playing every class equally also means you will never be very good at a class. Just average at all of them. Which can be a problem, since most of the time you play against people who main a class. Basically, you won't be as good at the class you play.

For me, it was just finding a class that was similar in alot of things. That is how I found my main.

Iam not saying equally I prefer certain classes here aswell but not only one, it would be odd if you would play only a single class always.
You need to be only good with your aim in most cases + positioning, if you can aim and hit you are good with most classes.

A main class doesn't mean you only play that class. It means you are better at that class then the other classes you play, and you probably invest more time into it then the others too. And aim isn't everything either. For Soldier and Demo you need to lead your shots, for scout you need to know how to dodge effectively, pyro needs to reflect and land flares, ect.

I play every class as long as it's needed.
*which explains my high time as Soldier and Demo*

aim and other fundamental things are everything in a 6 vs 6 or higlander match

Obviously aim is a very important aspect for everyone to have. I'm saying it isn't the only thing you have to be good at. You could have the greatest aim in the world, but if your game sense is ♥♥♥♥ you still won't get much done.
