How does CS:GO gameplay compare to TF2 gameplay?
I'm not asking about general stuff like gamemodes or quantity/type of weapons.

I'm asking more about core principles and concepts embedded in both games? How does combat initiate throughout both games? Does one game prioritize positioning over raw DM and vice versa for the other? Is having instakill weapons/mechanics more acceptable in one game rather than the other?

Why does certain stuff work for one game, but not for the other? For example, why is it that stuff such as flashbangs and grenades work in CS:GO, but not in TF2 (not counting Demoman)? Why is it that weapons can generally affect your movement speed in CS:GO, but not TF2 (barring a few TF2 unlocks)?

They are both first-person shooters. They both work on Source engine/ They both have headshot mechanic. That's all.
