How do i get new weapons?

While i do play the game i am unsure of how to get more weapons, always wanted the phlog but idk how to get it.

You can get weapons a few different ways, first is through random drops. Every so often you will get a random new weapon in your backpack.

The best way would be to visit a website called Scrap.tf. There you will be able to trade any current weapons you have (excludes starting weapons) for any weapon you want such as the phlog.
