Where does the sound-effects come from? Like the "Let's make some noise"

I love my Red-Tape Recorder very much but sometimes I wonder what it all means, especially the Chinese noises and radio effects, I like to think of it as its keeping me company and also its sorta smiling if you look at it a certain way.

What if a new update came out for the Red-Tape Recorder? That somehow its alive or like its self-aware of itself, like Wheatley although the Red-Tape Recorder isn't a moron.


I really hope the Heavy update comes out soon but I'd love another small quick Spy update and seeing as its Gaben's one of his favorite classes, its probably more likely.

Wheatley is a pre-established character and has a right to be sentient because of it. Not to mention how you are literally using Wheatley and not a sapper that looks like Wheatley.
