"casual" doesnt mean "vr chat", its just playing the game, still trying to win but not trying too hard to the point your heartbeat is faster than a formula 1 racing car and you're sweating, only to get punished if you dont. also theyre just annoying in general, especially when they rage in chat when you get free points off of them

Because friendlies are just selfish, attention-seeking parasites that often invade active lobbies that are playing to capture the objective (or even just to DM). Despite their namesake, friendlies are often hypocrites that belittle or even go out of their way to kick other players for killing them despite not reading the room that most other players don't want to sit around and have a picnic in the middle of a match.

Theres 2 types of friendlies, the friendlies that accept they are just a movable prop in this game and understand that other people killing him are just playing the game the way its meant to be played, and then there are friendlies who want the entire server to be friendly, as such anyone caught engaging in friendly homicide is placed on FBI's most wanted list.

by disrupting the game, they get attention they feel they wouldn't be able to have otherwise

friendlies themselves explicitly admit that there's no appeal to being a friendly on a friendly server, there you're just a random person in a crowd doing the same thing as everyone else
they target normal servers specifically because they get to be unique and the focus of attention
they don't friendly because they find friendly fun, they do it for attention
they criticize tryhards because they steal the spotlight

if they genuinely enjoyed sitting around doing nothing, they wouldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ when they die and/or would just go play on friendly servers

but they don't, they do the polar opposite of that
they're bitter that they aren't as cool as the tryhards
