What Nationality Is Sniper?
Does anyone know if Sniper is British or Australian? The accent is so off I don't know which he's supposed to be.

Everyone in the game thinks he's Australian, including himself, because the game takes place before the comic retcon(?) where he discovers he's from New Zealand.

TF2 has its own wiki site. You can look up just about any game statistic or lore. Here's a link to the sniper page:

While "God save the Queen" is closely associated with the British monarchy, it is not uncommon for Australians to use the phrase, particularly during official or ceremonial occasions where the British monarch is involved. However, in everyday conversation, it is less common for Australians to use this phrase compared to those in the United Kingdom. It ultimately depends on the context and the individual's personal inclinations.
