Some good keys to use for useful binds?
Currently the only bind I have is a killbind, set to the P key. I can't think of any other convenient key that isn't already occupied by something else in the game to put something like a "Ubercharge ready" bind.

Q is a handy one to have since its the fastest one next to your WASD keys. what you'd like to put there is up to you. I have my killbind there.

I did that at the start when I still had Minecraft muscle memory. Now instead I have TF2 muscle memory so this means that one time I dropped a fully enchanted Diamond Sword into lava because I thought that pressing Q was gonna switch back to my last used tool instead.

Q is a good one, though that'll make me have to relearn how to perform Puff and Sting with Pyro since I made use of quick switching on Q. I barely play Combo Pyro anyway, so it's a small sacrifice.

I mean, I agree, but announcing to my team that my Ubercharge is ready is different because sometimes people I'm healing have no idea that I have it ready or they are just caught off-guard and wind up wasting it in the process.

Auto destroy and rebuild scripts. Helps with by passing the PDA's on Engineer entirely and can help speed setting up in the long run.

Sentry:
bind a key "destroy 2 0;build 2 0"

Dispenser:
bind a key to "destroy 0 0;build 0 0"

Teleporter Entrance:
bind a key to: "destroy 1 0;build 1 0"

Teleporter Exit:
bind a key to: "destroy 1 1;build 1 1"

Make sure you use Quotation mark's in the bind so that it binds the entire command. It also is needed to build multiple commands ( separated with the ; key ) to single button.

I bound mine to Key's, F1, F2, F3 and F5 myself.

I barely use the Destruction PDA when I pick Engineer, not even when I use the Frontier Justice, so I personally don't see the need to use so many slots for a feature I barely use. But I'm sure others will find it useful. I was just looking for a Medic bind because I like playing Medic more than Engineer.

Oh god this is already gonna be a pain to get used to. I'm gonna need to rewire my muscle memory. Q for the Medic bind, Shift for crouching, and Ctrl for quick switching to the last weapon used.
