Here, Linux users are no different from women, non-binaries, furries or weaboos (apologies). IDK how can we find our place in this society if we can barely do that IRL. Although, dumb bodypillow jokes seem to have made it somehow, so I guess we can...
Most of us Linux users are just normal people irl so I dunno what you mean.
Like only a small percentage is really that stereotype of being extremely obese, wearing glasses and wearing Linux related T-shirts.
it is most about perception... regular gamers just wanna have fun and not hustle over OS they are running.
Because the perfect OS is the one you are not even knowledge you are running.
So what? You run your OS, hit steam and play the game. If there is a something in between, then it is OS.
Mine is just like that and I love it. It is Linux I and do not care if it is Windows or what.. Does not ask me questions, no pop ups... etc. Just works.
I used to be on win since it released from DOS... but you have to switch for better car if it is there and for free.
+1
It's all a matter of habbit. I've now been using GNU/Linux for 2 years at this point daily. And at some point, you just stop bothering about everything being new and fancy.
Some people just start their machine and click some buttons to get Windows to do the things they wanna do.
I start my OpenSUSE PC or Debian laptop press some different buttons and it also does exactly what I want it to do.
People claiming that Windows or Linux are unusable just aren't used to either one. I have used windows actively in the past and now actively use Linux, so I don't really care and can use both just fine. I just prefer GNU/Linux.
Some people want to force a ♥♥♥♥ measuring contest on others, only with their operating systems. There's being an Arch user and liking it, and than there's your entire existence being based on the fact that you love Arch Linux.
Like I have encouraged people around me to use GNU/Linux but I don't force it upon them, at least not anymore. I used to be a insufferable GNU/Linux elitist around 2013/2014, but I've mellowed out quite a bit (or at least I think I did) and find people who do stuff like that pretty cringe nowadays.
This is the way, mate.
Op shouldn't have cheated in a video game.
People actively use Konqueror? Why not just use Chromium or Firefox like any sane Linux user? Like there's nothing Konqueror does which Firefox can't.
