It will be floating in a map while you play, but you gotta find it and touch it first before other players can run and touch it first.

Going after is sure way to 1) get kicked and be slower at getting weapons, 2) lose interest in TF2 faster.

Aside random drops, you can get weapons via class achievements. Google how to do them.

There's still idle servers available for easy weapon drops. No kicks there.

That's not a "Legit" way to acquire the goods. That's "Pay to Win" if anything.

Buying is legit, it's not fault of buyers they don't want to wait or bother.
Good way to do so is to buy a key at Mann Co shop (getting premium as side effect), then trade key for metal and buy all weapons with that metal.

Pay to win isn't legit. Trader mains don't exist. They never have.
