Its only purpose is to turn Sniper into either the worst combat class in the game, or just a really bad sniper.
Also it has objectively the most retarded hitboxes in the entire game because otherwise it would actually be difficult to use, at which point it becomes blatantly obvious that a real Sniper Rifle would be far more effective.
It is simultaneously a crutch and a noob trap, and should not be taken seriously under any circumstances.
Catch an arrow with your eye!
Like a bodyshot is 1/2 strength but slows the target by 1/2.
It generally will force the sniper in a lot of situations to push up with the team, which in turn means it's not nearly as annoying to counter him as he's closer to the fight and not 500 feet behind his team, forcing you to fight through them to get to him.
For a slow projectile that does less damage.
the benefits:
Better FoV
Charge jump shots (which is useless on sniper)
Fast damage charge ramp up (with lower max damage)
the cons:
You loose a hit scan weapon
It does less damage
The arrow can be reflected
Less ammo
The benefits don't out weight the cons.
Why would you trade a hit scan weapon for a projectile that does less damage and is less consistent at all ranges?
Huntsman is pretty much a straight downgrade unfortunately.
It would be nice to see a rework, either have it do more damage the the sniper rifle or have the arrows travel faster and be less inconsistent.
