Team Fortress 2
In which situation does the quickfix get useful?
It's my least used medigun. Stock is great, vacc for when my team gets stomped and kritz if I have a really good teammate by my side.
Anytime I use the quickfix it feels like I'm being more of a problem instead of a benefit for the team.

In 12v12 it usually boils down to other variables being already in place like:
-You already have a stock medigun medic
-You don't have to push
-The situation favors Healing over Overheal
-The enemy is not running Kritz
-Low amount of Heavy/Snipers

In honesty, the Quick-Fix tends to be more of a snowballing tool than anything, since if things are going so right for your team that you get to use it, in a chaotic and uncoordinated enviroment such as 12v12 pubs you can probably just run another medigun or straight up switch class and still win.
It's basically good at everything except pushing well defended Sentries, where everything but stock sucks. It heals 40% faster, its Uber builds 10-120% faster, its Uber is almost as strong as stock's, the only downside is that its Uber technically isn't invulnerability so you can kill yourself with it if you try to melee a pair of Heavies or something.

I'll give it to you nice and sweet cause everyone else seems to be writing paragraphs

The quickfix is useful when your team is garbage

You wrote about as many words as I did. Only difference is your words make no sense, the Quick-Fix is possibly the worst option for when your team is garbage.

this might be the worst take I have seen in an hour, the worst mediguns when your team is ahh and garbage are kritz and medigun, cause if your team is garbage then you're going to die so much you won't be able to built Uber. medic relies on his team for protection and the quickfix keeps your garbage team alive so they can at least live long enough for you to built Uber. vac is still a better choice tho quickfix is literally a temporary medigun until your team gets it's shet together

yeah it's so hard for them to utilize full invincibility, the easy thing is keeping in mind that certain things can kill you through the qf uber

The quickfix is THE best medigun for keeping your team alive due to it's faster healing output. Contrary to people's belief, it's also good for pushing into a lvl 3 sentry, specially if it's being guarded by a Pybro, because it ignores any pushback effects.
What else do you want as a Medic if it isn't healing as much as you can? People tend to overrate ubers in this game for some reason. The quickfix might not have a busted ubercharge, but guess what? 99% of the time you spend in a match you're not ubered anyway. Healing a lot matters. It keeps your teammates alive, which keeps YOU alive.

Bonus: Fun fact, the Quickfix is so OP that it's one of the very few Medic weapons that are banned in most competitive leagues, because of how strong it can be, specially in a coordinated team.

quickfix Uber is garbage which is why it's literally never specifically used for one player, it's just like using it normally but faster. no one should push with a qf Uber, also as I said, medigun requires the medic to be alive to build Uber, if the team is garbage that ain't happening

Quickfix is only good for reckless teams, good teams don't need it, another medi gun is a better choice to keep your team alive with, quickfix should only be used if your teammates share one brain cell

Sometimes your team is taking too much damage not just because they're bad, sometimes it's just because there's one or more players that are really good on the enemy team. Quickfix is the best option to keep their health full simply because it heals faster, and relying on ubers for that is definitely not helpful because they're going to die before you get one, and if they die, the next head on the line is yours.
It is super useful if your team is taking WAY too much damage. If they're dying because of other reasons like Snipers and stuff, then use other mediguns.

I like using quickfix when I am second meding so while the other one bounces on someones d- umm, is pocket for MVP I try to help as many as I can and using uber on better players.

I know that it is banned in 6v6 due to the fact that the medic can pretty much go toe to toe with soldiers or demos in terms of mobility.
I'll give the quickfix a try when I have a situation like the ones that you said. Thanks

Hold Up
No Knockback?

yay (I still don’t like medic)

The quick fix is most useful when you need to heal alot of people in a short span of time. If your team is taking too much damage but doesn't need to rely on kritz or uber to get the job done, then the quick fix will shine more. Also worth mentioning that its uber can be used while carrying the intelligence if you're playing CTF (doesn't work with objectives in other game modes).

It's a direct upgrade, except if you want to pocket a Heavy (50% less überheal) and in case some sniper headshots you or your team mate during the übercharge, because 450 damage is an instant kill.
