-You already have a stock medigun medic
-You don't have to push
-The situation favors Healing over Overheal
-The enemy is not running Kritz
-Low amount of Heavy/Snipers
In honesty, the Quick-Fix tends to be more of a snowballing tool than anything, since if things are going so right for your team that you get to use it, in a chaotic and uncoordinated enviroment such as 12v12 pubs you can probably just run another medigun or straight up switch class and still win.
The quickfix is useful when your team is garbage
What else do you want as a Medic if it isn't healing as much as you can? People tend to overrate ubers in this game for some reason. The quickfix might not have a busted ubercharge, but guess what? 99% of the time you spend in a match you're not ubered anyway. Healing a lot matters. It keeps your teammates alive, which keeps YOU alive.
Bonus: Fun fact, the Quickfix is so OP that it's one of the very few Medic weapons that are banned in most competitive leagues, because of how strong it can be, specially in a coordinated team.
Sometimes your team is taking too much damage not just because they're bad, sometimes it's just because there's one or more players that are really good on the enemy team. Quickfix is the best option to keep their health full simply because it heals faster, and relying on ubers for that is definitely not helpful because they're going to die before you get one, and if they die, the next head on the line is yours.
It is super useful if your team is taking WAY too much damage. If they're dying because of other reasons like Snipers and stuff, then use other mediguns.
I know that it is banned in 6v6 due to the fact that the medic can pretty much go toe to toe with soldiers or demos in terms of mobility.
I'll give the quickfix a try when I have a situation like the ones that you said. Thanks
Hold Up
No Knockback?
yay (I still don’t like medic)
