so i have the unusual haunted metal scrap and i cant use it what do i do

Well you can use the metal to either make the Horseless Headsman's axe for Demoman; works exactly like the Eyelander, or you can make a spooky hat which can come out as a cool skull or the voodoo hat. I can't remember the names off the top of my head. Personally I'd make the axe, since you can buy / trade for the spooky hats.
