Yeah, tbh I don’t even know why I said I was torn because the more I think about the more I realize I prefer skins way more. And as far as quality goes I agree that there are a lot of mediocre skins but the worst skins from those older collections are still leagues better than the worst war paints. Most of the “bad” ones people cite are just boring/bland like a lot of the merc/civ grades, but aren’t really offensive. I think I would personally argue against there being more bad skins than good since the only skins I actually consider bad are the brain candy and flower power ones. Just my opinion though.
How are they both awful? Do you mean bad for the game in general or that a lot of skins/war paints individually are bad.

Skins that actually mesh with the game can be good for it.
You've probably heard this before but check out the gentlemanne's collection. Its one of the old contract collections and every skin looks clean as hell. They are fairly expensive if you want fac new tho
and buying a warpaint is like buying a cheaply manufactured lawchair from walmart
