The "Major Update" Is For Summer of Next Year (2024)

My anonymous source at Valve (I can't name them because they are anonymous) has dmed me informing me that the update won't be coming out until Summer of 2024.

From what I'm being told, they are planning on updating the blog post accordingly, as to not mislead the community.

If you have any question, I won't be answering them.

Not at the moment, but all we can hope is that players don't start spamming stuff like "It's coming out this year!". Last year when the Screamfortress 2022 update was supposed to have been delayed until November, it was rushed out the door when players kept pushing them to release it early. We did get artistic version of Bonesaw, although that was shortly "patched" into making it a normal map.
