Can't Run TF2

Okay, so I HAVE been able to run tf2 on this pc before, but apparently i cannot this time around. I (stupidly) put windows 10 on my pc (previous was 8.1 and tf2 ran fine). But now when I run it, the dialog pops up that tells me that it is starting, then it disapears...and Steam shows that I am in game, the task manager has the hl2 process going on, but there is no icon on the task bar.... I have 8GB ram now, so I know that isn't the problem, but I don't know if any of my games could be blocking it (i couldn't find any games that interfered when I googled it), or even Avast!....

My Games:
Portal, Portal 2, Warframe, Civ IV & V, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Subject 13, FF7, Papers Please, The Cat Machine

Any help would be apreciated. Thanks. <3

Try to downgrade it back to 8.1?

Well you can rollback to windows 8.1. Google it first and if you can't find out how to rollback contact microsoft tech support or your closest indian tech support center.

when this occured to me, I just restarted my computer and the problem stopped.

Windows 10 is a mess of wires and oil, points if you get the reference, that needs to be perfected. Current state 4/12/2016: Pile of ****

If it worked fine on Windows 8.1 probably the best move is to downgrade back to 8.1.

Given how TF2 is poorly optimized even for Windows 7 and 10 still being barely stable as an OS it's just a recipe for disaster.

its only windows 8.1 that im seeing is having these sorts of issues
